Character Description

Lili is the first major protagonist introduced in Lily and Marigold and serves as the central character of Chapter One. Despite sharing her name with the series title, Lily and Marigold is not solely her story. Instead, each arc follows a different protagonist, with the perspective shifting depending on whose story is being told. Because Lili is introduced first and shares part of the title, many readers mistakenly assume she is the series' sole main character.

Lili struggles to express her thoughts and emotions clearly, often causing others to misunderstand her intentions. Although she rarely means any harm, her blunt way of speaking can make her appear rude, cold, or confrontational. These misunderstandings have repeatedly led to conflict throughout her life.

Following a misunderstanding that led her to attack another student, Lili was expelled despite apologizing for the incident. As a result, she transferred to a new school and temporarily moved into the Sun Flower Townhouse. While the move began under unfortunate circumstances, it unexpectedly reunited her with her childhood friends, Sophia and Miya, giving her the opportunity to rebuild the connections she had lost over the years.

Lili’s short stature has been a frequent target of teasing since childhood. Constant jokes about her height gradually contributed to her short temper, making her quick to argue or lash out when provoked. During middle school, she dyed her hair as a form of self-expression, though she later cut it short after moving to Sun Flower. The change symbolized a fresh start in her life.

Living in a new environment and reconnecting with her childhood friends gradually helped Lili mature emotionally. Although she still struggles to communicate her feelings and can be easily irritated, she has become noticeably calmer and more patient than she was in the past. Surrounded by people who understand her better, Lili slowly learns to open up, soften her rough edges, and become more honest with both herself and those around her.

Character Description

Fiona is one of the central characters featured in the story of Lily and Marigold. As the landlord and resident chef of the Sun Flower Townhouse, she provides both a home and a warm meal for its residents, becoming a dependable mother figure to those around her.

While attending culinary school, Fiona trained as a professional chef and successfully earned her certification. Although she once dreamed of opening her own restaurant, she ultimately realized that managing a large business wasn’t the life she wanted. Rather than pursuing a high-pressure career, she chose a quieter path that would allow her to continue doing what she loves most: cooking for others.

When Fiona was in her early twenties, her father was reassigned as a military instructor at the Chillis Training Base. As her parents relocated back to their home town, Chillis, they entrusted the Sun Flower Townhouse to her. Taking over as both landlord and chef gave Fiona the opportunity to run a small business while creating a welcoming home where she could share her cooking with a small group.

Warm, outgoing, and approachable, Fiona enjoys bringing people together and dislikes seeing others argue. She makes an effort to treat everyone with kindness, even those who are difficult to get along with, making her surprisingly hard to provoke. However, when it comes to cooking or food, she can become unexpectedly passionate, stubborn, and even confrontational, refusing to compromise on the quality of her dishes or accept criticism of them. In these moments, she can seem like a completely different person.

Fiona jokes that she "just wants to live a happy, simple life," using it as a lighthearted excuse to avoid the stress of a typical chef's career, and it reflects the life she has chosen. She finds happiness not in ambition or reputation, but in sharing good food, caring for her tenants, and creating a place where people feel at home.

Age: 18-19

Birthplace: Kagehon

Height: 5’5" (165 cm)

Blood Type: AB

Race: Human

Ancestry: Kagehoni

Occupation: Student, Field agent of Dispute Conciliation Agency

Magic Status: Stage 3B, Skyshaper

Featured in:

Character Description

Sara K. is one of the central characters of Lily and Marigold and a resident of the Sun Flower Townhouse. Her story later expands into her own spin-off series, Kazakiri, where she serves as the main protagonist. She also makes a minor appearance in Silent Smile, connecting the shared universe.

Born as Sora Kazakiri, Sara is a runaway ninja from the Kazakiri Clan of Kagehon. Raised under the leadership of her grandfather, the clan’s head, she endured a harsh upbringing defined by relentless training and expectations. Rather than receiving special treatment because of her family’s status, she was held to an even higher standard. From a young age, she carried out dangerous missions and witnessed the darker side of the world.

Despite her disciplined upbringing, Sara possesses a compassionate heart. She often questioned the morality of certain missions, believing there were better ways to resolve conflicts. Her hesitation to follow orders frequently resulted in punishment, such as when she chose to save Seth's life, a decision that caused a mission to fail. Later, Sara left Kagehon for Amarath, leaving behind the only life she had ever known.

Seth later sought Sara out, and together they founded the Dispute Conciliation Agency, handling cases ranging from everyday disputes to dangerous field operations. She, for the most part, insists on accepting payment for every job, a mindset shaped partly by her clan’s teachings and partly by her own desire to maintain emotional distance from others. Despite leaving the Kazakiri Clan, Sara does not resent her homeland or the people who raised her. She simply chose a different path. As a reminder of that, she continues to use the initial "K." in her name, honoring where she came from without allowing it to define who she has become.

Sara currently lives at the Sun Flower Townhouse, a home chosen by Seth after her arrival in Amarath. At first, she struggled to feel like she belonged, keeping herself emotionally detached and believing she was only there temporarily. Over time, however, the warmth and kindness of the townhouse's residents gradually broke through her guard. Beneath her calm, stoic demeanor lies a caring, dependable, and occasionally playful young woman. Even so, she continues to remind herself not to grow too attached, convinced that one day she will inevitably have to leave everything behind, once again.

Occupation: Student

Magic Status: Stage 0

Character Description

Angelia is one of the central characters of Lily and Marigold. She moved into the Sun Flower Townhouse with her single mother, Alicia, becoming Fiona’s very first tenant.

After Alicia was promoted and transferred to Valor Spring, her increasingly demanding job left her with little time to care for Angelia. Rather than moving away together, Angelia remained at the Sun Flower Townhouse under Fiona’s care, who became a trusted guardian and second mother figure in her life. Although she misses spending time with her mother, Angelia understands the sacrifices Alicia makes and continues to support her, always encouraging her to do her best.

Bright, energetic, and optimistic, Angelia can make friends with almost anyone she meets. She instinctively reaches out to people without judging appearances, often striking up conversations with those others find intimidating or unapproachable. Angelia expresses everything directly and may say things out loud without realizing they could be taken as rude. To her, she is simply stating what she sees, never intending to insult or embarrass anyone. If someone is feeling down, she does everything she can to cheer them up. If she sees a friend being bullied or treated unfairly, she will stand up for them, even when she is frightened herself. Her innocence and sincerity often catch people off guard, allowing her to connect with others in ways few can.

Because of her cheerful personality, many people dismiss Angelia as naive or simple-minded. To be fair, she does have a habit of acting before thinking, occasionally getting herself into trouble through her own silly decisions. She'll sometimes make up little excuses, tell harmless lies, or come up with clumsy schemes to avoid getting scolded. However, her attempts are so transparent that they only make her seem more endearing than mischievous.

Beneath her bright and carefree personality, however, lies a quiet loneliness. Despite always trying to make others smile, there are moments when missing her mother and the fear of being left behind become too much to bear. On those rare occasions, she reveals the vulnerable child she usually keeps hidden.

Character Description

Aaron is one of the central characters of Lily and Marigold and a resident of the Sun Flower Townhouse, where he lives with his older sister, Fiona, while preparing for the bar examination.

Responsible, open-minded, and guided by a strong belief in fairness, he chose to study law because he believes justice should be pursued through the proper legal process rather than through assumptions or emotion. That conviction stems from a childhood incident in which he falsely accused another child of stealing based solely on what others had told him. After security footage proved the boy’s innocence, Aaron immediately apologized. On the way home, his father told him that while his heart had been in the right place, good intentions alone were not enough; justice requires evidence, patience, and doing things the right way. The lesson has stayed with Aaron ever since.

Although confident in his convictions, Aaron can also be stubborn and occasionally act too quickly when defending what he believes is right. Even so, he is willing to change his mind when presented with a reasonable argument, valuing truth over pride.

Despite holding himself to high moral standards, Aaron has a habit of rationalizing his own contradictions. Whether maintaining friendships with people whose values he disagrees with or insisting someone he clearly has feelings for is “just a friend,” he often finds logical excuses to justify decisions driven more by emotion than reason. Though he prides himself on being objective, Aaron can be blind to his own heart.

Sophia is one of the central characters of Lily and Marigold and one of Lili’s closest childhood friends. A girl of very few words, she rarely speaks in complete sentences, often responding with nothing more than a quiet “Mmm." While most people struggle to understand what she means, her parents and closest friends can communicate with her effortlessly and have a normal conversation.

Sophia is often seen with the rabbit plush she has carried since childhood, a gift from her father based on her favorite cartoon character. She has a deep affection for cute things, especially plush toys and sweets, and enjoys collecting anything she finds charming. Although her facial expressions rarely change, her eyes brighten noticeably whenever she sees something cute or delicious.

After her parents’ divorce, Sophia was raised by her single father, resulting in a particularly close bond between them. Over the years, both Sophia and her mother made gradual attempts to reconnect, which became the central focus of her spin-off series, Silent Smile. For a long time, Sophia resented her mother, believing she had abandoned the family. However, as she grew older, the two of them slowly began to rebuild their relationship, reconnecting one step at a time.

Despite her reserved personality, Sophia is a dependable and loyal friend. She is a member of Lili's close childhood friend group and remains by her side through both the good times and the difficult ones, often offering silent support that speaks louder than words.

Character Description

Miya is one of the central characters of Lily and Marigold and one of Lili’s closest childhood friends, completing the trio alongside Sophia. While Lili is content to go with the flow and Sophia tends to follow quietly, Miya is often the one who encourages the group to join in activities and takes care of her friends, whether she’s bringing food to share, suggesting new places to visit, or ensuring everyone feels included. Her energetic personality brings balance to the trio, making her the driving force behind many of their shared experiences.

Around Lili, Miya's personality changes completely; She becomes dramatically more expressive and playful, speaking in an exaggerated, comedic manner and openly flirting with Lili whenever the opportunity arises. While she frequently jokes about romantic situations or acts unusually affectionate, both of them understand it as part of their long-standing friendship. Beneath the humor, Miya knows their relationship is unlikely to become anything more, yet she continues the playful banter simply because it’s a dynamic she has grown accustomed to.

Photography is Miya's greatest passion. As a member of her school's photography club, she enjoys capturing everyday moments and wildlife photography. Lili has become one of her favorite subjects, often finding herself photographed without warning. While strangers sometimes find Miya’s actions a little unusual, Lili has long since accepted it as simply how Miya is.

Interestingly, the side of Miya that Lili and Sophia know is one that few others ever see. Outside her childhood friends, she is calm, mature, and dependable, earning the respect of her fellow photography club members. Only when she is reunited with Lili and Sophia does she return to the energetic, teasing girl they grew up with.

Outside of work, Lydia leads a quiet, ordinary life with her beloved pug and tabby cat, Niu Niu and Mew Mew. She has a strong preference for cleanliness and organization, keeping both her home and daily routines precisely tidy. She enjoys making detailed plans, even for casual outings, and tends to overthink small, often unnecessary details before making decisions. While her thoughtful nature is well-intentioned, it can sometimes make her seem difficult or troublesome to deal with, especially to those who prefer to act on impulse. Character Description

Rena is one of the central characters of Lily and Marigold. She became friends with Fiona through their mutual close friend, Lydia, and frequently visits Sun Flower Townhouse to enjoy afternoon tea, dinners, and other gatherings with the group.

Although Rena proudly insists she is “forever 26,” she is actually 160 years old. Following the destruction of the Tree of Mana, elves no longer possess the near-immortal lifespans of the past, but they still typically live two to three times longer than humans. Even by modern elven standards, Rena is considerably older than both Fiona and Lydia, something she would much rather people not dwell on.

Unlike the graceful, reserved image most people associate with elves, Rena is an Amaran elf through and through. Loud, outgoing, and direct, she embraced modern city life with enthusiasm. She loves celebrity gossip, reality TV, bars, and just about anything lively. Seeking that excitement, she left the quiet elven community of Enhnore and settled in Solara, convinced the city life suited her far better.

Despite having lived for over a century and a half, Rena has only been in a handful of serious relationships. She recently began dating her coworker, Elliot, the older brother of Lithana. While still as loud and outgoing as ever, she has gradually become more composed and dependable, hoping to build a peaceful life with Elliot and be a good role model for Lithana. Without realizing it, Rena has begun embracing the very traditional elven values she once rejected, finding happiness not in chasing excitement, but in having a place and people to come home to.

Character Description

One of the main central characters of Lily and Marigold, Lithana is a classmate and close friend of Angelia.

As a child, Lithana was diagnosed with Essence Absorption Syndrome, also known as being a Soul Eater, a rare condition among Tieflings that causes a soul absorption ability to activate uncontrollably. Following a serious incident early in her life, she came under the care of the Mythic Unity Foundation (MUF), where she underwent an experimental treatment to stabilize her condition.

The treatment was successful, leaving a mana stone permanently embedded in her chest to suppress the involuntary activation of her ability. While no longer a threat to those around her, the power itself was not removed and can still be activated through sufficient control or in self-defense.

Afterward, the MUF helped Lithana and her brothers settle in Solara, where she enrolled in a local elementary school. There she met Angelia, whose easygoing personality and habit of treating everyone the same helped Lithana feel like just another classmate. Angelia's straightforward attitude broke the ice, allowing Lithana to form friendships with the rest of the class.

Although she is free to live an ordinary life, the MUF continues to monitor her condition, with her brother, Elliot, maintaining regular contact with the organization.

Gentle, shy, and timid by nature, Lithana is deeply considerate of others. She is the kind of person who is willing to sacrifice her own happiness if it means those around her can smile. However, whenever her friends get carried away or have mischievous ideas, she expresses her opposition, often serving as the voice of reason within the group.

Character Description

One of the main central characters of Lily and Marigold, Molly is the daughter of the CEO of Hearton Corp., a classmate and a close friend of Angelia.

Originally enrolled in an elite private school chosen by her father, Molly later transferred to a public school after her uncle persuaded her father that she would benefit from interacting with more ordinary children. Her earlier experiences in the private school left her distrustful of others, causing her to keep people at a distance.

That changed when she met Angelia, whose carefree personality and genuine enthusiasm for Molly’s hobbies, particularly anime and video games, broke down her walls. Unlike her former classmates, who mocked her interests, Angelia simply enjoyed them alongside her; together with Lithana and later Laylani, they became the friends she cared for.

Molly is mischievous, sarcastic, and well-versed in internet culture, giving her a more cynical outlook than the rest of the group. Even so, her friends help keep her grounded, with Angelia's bright spirit, Lithana's gentle conscience, and Laylani's friendly rivalry often pushing Molly to challenge herself while keeping her ego in check.

Because her father spends much of his time traveling for work, Molly rarely has the opportunity to be with him. Having lost her mother at a young age, she treasures the time they do spend together. While her father is away, her uncle and Dream are primarily responsible for looking after her.

Although Molly is the daughter of one of the world’s most influential business leaders, her classmates rarely treat her any differently. To them, she’s simply “the girl whose dad makes robots,” rather than someone connected to one of the largest corporations in the world.

Race: Vampire

Subrace: Daywalker

Ancestry: Human–Vampire

Occupation: Student

Magic Status: Stage 0, Shapeshifting

Character Description

Laylani is one of the main central characters of Lily and Marigold and one of Angelia's closest friends. Born in Dusmore, she later moved to Amarath after her parents decided it would be the best place for a Daywalker like her to grow up.

As a young child, Laylani struggled to adapt to life in Amarath. Her need to consume blood often made interactions with others awkward, leaving her worried about how people would perceive her. That changed when she met Angelia, who never considered her vampire habits unusual and simply treated her like any other classmate. Angelia's easygoing attitude gave Laylani the confidence to open up, eventually helping her form friendships with the rest of the class.

Her closest rivalry is with Molly. Despite sharing many interests and personalities, the two constantly clash over their preferred forms of entertainment. Laylani is passionate about Amarath’s style of superheroes and cartoons, while Molly prefers anime, manga, and Kagehon’s pop culture. Their endless debates often turn into competitions, with each determined to prove their favorite is better. Despite their constant bickering, Angelia naturally bridges the gap between them, treating both girls equally and turning their rivalry into a friendship.

As a Daywalker, Laylani can live comfortably under the sun, making Amarath an ideal place for her to grow up. Her mother, however, is a Dawnwalker, for whom sunlight remains painful despite not being lethal. This difference has occasionally led to disagreements within the family, particularly with Laylani's grandfather, who believes they would be better off living in Dusmore. Although Laylani is aware that some tension exists, her parents and grandfather make every effort to keep those disagreements away from her, allowing her to enjoy a peaceful childhood largely unaware of the family’s deeper conflicts.

Despite appearances, the bat wings are simply hairpins gifted by her grandfather, not part of her body.

Character Description

One of the main central characters of Lily and Marigold, Jun is Aaron's childhood best friend and the person whose childhood friendship with Aaron played a key role in his decision to pursue law.

Goofy, easygoing, and always ready with a joke, Jun is the kind of person who can make friends with almost anyone. His carefree attitude and love of anime often give the impression that he isn't particularly reliable, but those who know him well understand that he is far more responsible than he lets on.

After graduating from high school, Jun chose to enter the workforce instead of attending college. He currently works in construction, taking on physically demanding jobs while constantly learning new skills. Later, he also began working part-time as a car salesman, reflecting his willingness to take on any honest work to support the life he and Lemon are building together.

Because Lemon's parents strongly disapproved of their relationship, her mother encouraged the couple to live together, believing Jun would eventually prove himself irresponsible. Aside from paying Lemon's college tuition, they offered no financial support. Determined to prove them wrong, Jun took on the responsibility of supporting their household while Lemon attended college and worked a small part-time job, ultimately strengthening both their relationship and her parent’s opinion of him.

Although Jun remains childish at heart and never hides his enthusiasm for anime and games, Lemon has never seen those hobbies as flaws, aside from the occasional gacha game spending habits. To her, they're simply part of the person she fell in love with. As long as Jun continues to work hard and keep their home running, she wouldn’t have him any other way.

One of the main central characters of Lily and Marigold, Lemon is Aaron's high school friend and Jun's longtime girlfriend.

Sensitive and highly emotional, Lemon can switch from cheerful to upset in an instant. While she often appears to be the more mature half of the relationship, it is usually Jun who patiently calms her down and helps her through her mood swings. Despite her emotional nature, she is deeply caring and never hesitates to support those she loves.

A hopeless romantic at heart, Lemon adores romance novels, love stories, and anything involving happy couples. She often tries to play matchmaker among her friends, convinced she can spot the perfect pair before anyone else. Her enthusiasm occasionally gets out of hand, requiring Jun to remind her not to overstep other people’s boundaries.

Lemon was not particularly interested in Jun when they first met, but his sincerity and persistence gradually won her over. Once she accepted his feelings, however, she committed herself wholeheartedly to the relationship. Believing that dating should only lead toward marriage, she has never viewed relationships as something casual and makes her intentions clear from the very beginning.

Because Lemon’s parents strongly disapproved of their relationship, the couple faced significant challenges early on. Rather than giving up, Jun chose to enter the workforce after high school and took on the responsibility of supporting their household while Lemon attended college and worked a part-time job. Witnessing his determination only strengthened Lemon’s feelings for him, reaffirming her belief that she had chosen the right person to build her future with.

She attended the same high school as Aaron, Jun, and Lemon, though she was never in the same class and was one year ahead of Lemon; The two only became friends during college after Lemon helped Maggie when she tripped in the hallway.

Gentle, clumsy, and simple-minded, Maggie constantly underestimates herself and is often surprised when people notice or appreciate her. Lemon quickly grew frustrated with Maggie’s habit of putting herself down and practically forced her way into becoming her friend, gradually helping Maggie gain more confidence. She later became part of the group’s close circle alongside Aaron, Jun, Hila and Seth.

After moving next door to Jun and Lemon, she frequently drops by their apartment unannounced, treating it almost like a second home. Lemon takes on an older-sister role, constantly reminding Maggie to take better care of herself and be more responsible with her spending.

She never made many friends in high school, dropped out of college, and her crush on Aaron never went anywhere. Now, she works full-time as a Two Square Mart convenience store clerk and gives her all at her job, even as she remains uncertain about her future. She first became friends with Maggie after the two briefly worked together in retail before eventually going their separate ways, with Maggie joining Two Square Mart convenience store and Hila finding work at a movie theater. Although they no longer worked together, the two remained close friends. Through Maggie, Hila met Lemon, and the three quickly became inseparable. Their circle later expanded after Lemon realized that the boy Maggie had quietly admired was someone she already knew, eventually bringing Aaron and Jun into the group… and Seth.

Soft-spoken, gentle, and easygoing, Hila is the type of person who is perfectly content spending an afternoon reading a book or simply sitting quietly in the company of someone she cares about. Rather than leading conversations, she prefers to listen and happily goes along with whatever the group decides.

Originally from Dustfall, Hila moved to Solara hoping to prove she could build a life on her own instead of relying on her parents, who had always treated her as someone needing protection. Although living independently proved far more difficult than she expected, those doubts gradually faded after finding a place among her friends. Aaron's casual remark that her eye was beautiful was something she never forgot, having spent most of her life expecting other races to see her having one eye as unusual.

As time passed, Hila developed feelings for Aaron, and Maggie also had a crush on him. Rather than letting this create conflict, the two remained honest with each other, and Maggie gave Hila her full support. Aaron and Hila gradually realized their feelings were mutual, but both understood that the timing wasn’t right. With Aaron determined to become a lawyer, Hila chose to respect his decision, content to remain by his side. For now, they’re just friends.

Character Description

One of the main central characters of Lily and Marigold, Seth is both a member of Aaron's close friend group and Sara’s partner at the Dispute Conciliation Agency in the Kazakiri series, where he specializes in intelligence gathering, background investigations, and behind-the-scenes operations.

Very little is known about Seth’s past. Publicly, he claims to have been adopted by Bob Fishman, a retired merfolk underworld doctor, though even their shared surname is widely suspected to be an alias. With his trademark closed-eye smile and calm demeanor, Seth appears friendly and approachable. Those who know him better, however, quickly realize that behind that smile is someone with an unsettling way of viewing the world. Practical, manipulative, and willing to bend logic or morality whenever it benefits him, Seth believes everyone is ultimately driven by self-interest. To him, even acts of kindness are simply another form of selfishness; people help others because doing so makes themselves feel good. In his eyes, morality is not an absolute, but a tool that people use to justify whatever best serves their own goals.

Despite his questionable ethics, Seth possesses an uncanny ability to understand people. His advice is often blunt, harsh, and sometimes even cruel, yet it frequently turns out to be exactly what someone needs to hear. While he shows little sympathy toward strangers, he is surprisingly loyal to those he considers genuine friends, revealing glimmers of humanity beneath his cynical persona. He often leaves people with the same impression: he's a sociopathic jerk… but he has a point.

Seth eventually became part of Aaron's circle almost by accident after regularly visiting the same teahouse. A casual conversation with Jun led to him joining the group, despite several members, particularly Lemon, being openly suspicious of him. Aaron welcomed Seth without much hesitation, but as they spent more time together, he gradually realized Seth embodied everything he stood against. Yet he couldn't ignore that Seth’s cold, logical perspective often challenged his own beliefs in ways he hadn’t considered before. As someone determined to become a lawyer, Aaron eventually came to believe that understanding people like Seth was just as important as opposing them. Their friendship has since developed into an unusual balance between idealism and pragmatism, with one constantly testing the other's convictions without either truly changing who they are.

Behind his easygoing smile lies a past that few people know. Whatever happened before he met Sara fundamentally changed the course of his life, leaving him with an unwavering loyalty to her. Whether her path leads toward justice or something far darker, Seth has long since decided that he will be there to support her until the very end.

Character Description

A supporting character in Lily and Marigold, Hellion is Lithana's older half-brother and one of the field agents of the Dispute Conciliation Agency, working alongside Sara in the Kazakiri series.

Born from his father’s affair, Hellion was brought into the family at a young age, placing constant strain on his parents’ marriage. Although his stepmother struggled to accept him, and Elliot could never fully see him as a true brother despite always treating him fairly, Lithana never cared about such things, happily calling them both her “dear brothers.” While the two brothers rarely got along, they always agreed on one thing: protecting their little sister.

Never feeling like he truly belonged, Hellion frequently got into fights from a young age, even against opponents much older than himself. Through relentless brawls, he eventually taught himself magic, though his reckless behavior only worsened the tension at home. After the incident involving Lithana, their parents divorced, leaving Elliot to care for his younger siblings.

Even after starting over, Hellion remained a lazy delinquent. He skipped school, refused to work, relied on Elliot for support, and left Lithana cleaning up after him. His life finally changed after a brutal fight with local delinquents led to an encounter with Sara. Waking up to find Lithana by his bedside after she had patched him up and stayed watching him all night, and faced with Elliot's demand to change or leave, Hellion finally decided to turn his life around.

He returned to school, found a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant, and was eventually recruited by Seth as the second field agent of the Dispute Conciliation Agency. Though still rough around the edges, Hellion continues trying to become a better person, believing he owes that chance to the one person who never gave up on him, his little sister, Lithana.

Character Description

A supporting character in Lily and Marigold, Elliot is Lithana's eldest brother, Hellion's older half-brother, and a coworker of Lydia and Rena.

Calm, dependable, and mature, Elliot has always been the person others, even his own parents, relied on. Whether at work or at home, he approaches problems with patience and composure, rarely allowing his emotions to cloud his judgment. Even in the most difficult situations, he prefers to quietly assess the problem before acting, believing that staying calm is often the best way to support those around him.

Although he and Hellion rarely see eye to eye, Elliot has always tried to treat him fairly, even if their relationship has not always been easy. Despite their differences, both brothers share the same priority when it comes to Lithana's well-being.

Outside of family life, Elliot works alongside Lydia and Rena and is currently in a relationship with Rena. While he knows their age difference is unusual, can sense the difference in mana, or considering Rena is much older even by elven standards, it has never mattered to him. What he values most is the kindness and stability she brings into both his life and Lithana's.

Unlike his siblings, Elliot possesses neither magic nor any special abilities. Nor does he want to. Instead, he relies on responsibility, patience, and quiet determination to keep his family together. He approaches every challenge with the same steady composure, believing that remaining calm and navigating problems is often the greatest strength he can offer.

Race: Bot

Model: Alpha Unit-01

Character Description

A supporting character in Lily and Marigold, Paz is the personal bodyguard and assistant to the Hearton family, serving mainly under Charles Hearton, the CEO of Hearton Corp.

Originally, the project that would become Alpha Unit-01 was intended for an entirely different purpose. Following a series of events, however, the project was fundamentally redesigned into the unit now known as Paz. After her first activation, she entered an extended development period, spending much of the following years in sleep mode while Professor Shing continuously refined her hardware, software, and personality systems between testing sessions.

Paz carries herself with impeccable professionalism, approaching every task with courtesy, efficiency, and an unwavering smile. While fully capable of expressing a wide range of emotions, she simply chooses to smile in almost every situation, a habit that many people find oddly unsettling.

Unlike other Domestic Unit robots, Paz possesses a genuine personality of her own. Rather than being limited by programmed responses, she consciously chooses to act as a polite and obedient assistant because she believes it is the most appropriate way to serve the Hearton family.

Among all of Hearton Corp’s robotic units, Paz is often regarded as the most unsettling. Despite her warm smile and calm voice, she occasionally makes cold, calculated, odd remarks or decisions that leave outsiders feeling uncomfortable, only to dismiss them as harmless jokes. While she faithfully carries out her duties, she is also willing to act on her own initiative whenever she believes it is in the family’s best interest. To the Hearton family, however, these moments are simply part of who Paz is.

Although she is a robot, the Hearton family treats Paz as one of their own. As the oldest of the household’s robotic companions, she naturally fills the role of an older sister. It was Molly who gave her the name “Paz,” meaning “peace.” Initially, she was named because it sounded cool, sounding like a peace fighter; but later, she also believed it suited her as the one who quietly watches over the family.

Model: Alpha Unit-02

Primary Function: Personal Bodyguard, Personal Assistant, and Caretaker to the Hearton Family

Character Description

A supporting character in Lily and Marigold, Dream is the personal bodyguard and assistant assigned primarily to Molly, daughter of Hearton Corp CEO Charles Hearton.

The complete opposite of Paz, Dream is loud, chaotic, playful, and unapologetically lazy. The Hearton family allows her plenty of freedom, trusting that no matter what she is doing, she will immediately abandon it to protect Molly whenever she is truly needed. Molly carries an internal tracker that monitors her location and vital signs, allowing Dream to respond almost instantly while built-in safeguards prevent unnecessary intervention so Molly can enjoy a normal childhood.

Because of her carefree personality, Dream behaves more like Molly's older sister than her bodyguard. They spend much of their free time playing games and watching television together, making it easy to forget that Dream is a heavily armed combat unit. Her carefree attitude has occasionally drawn criticism, particularly from 5NEWS reporter Erin, though Professor Shing has always defended her. Even so, whenever both Charles and Professor Shing leave on a business trip at the same time, they usually entrust Molly to Paz, not because Dream cannot protect her, but because the two would almost certainly spend the time playing instead of finishing homework.

Dream received her name from Molly after an accident during development. Activated before her systems were complete, Dream entered a combat state, devastating much of the laboratory and nearly killing both Shing and Molly until Paz intervened and stopped her. Though Dream blamed herself, Molly forgave her and named her “Dream,” believing the incident did not define who she truly was; it was simply a bad dream they had all woken up from. Ever since, the Hearton family has treated Dream with the same courtesy they show Paz, considering both of them members of the family rather than just machines. The two also regard each other as sisters.

Pacifica
帕西菲卡

Pacifica.jpg

First Activation: December 25

Manufacturer: Hearton Corp

Age: 1-2

Place of Manufacture: Solara, Amarath

Height: 5'3" (160 cm)

Race: Bot

Model: Pacifica Unit

Primary Function: Public Service, Civilian Assistance, Emergency Response, and Hearton Family Support

Specialization: Enhanced Strength, Emergency Medical Equipment, Flight, Submersible

Featured in:

Character Description

A supporting character in Lily and Marigold, Pacifica serves not only as a personal assistant to the Hearton family, but also as a public service robot developed in cooperation with the government.

Unlike Paz and Dream, Pacifica is not a single individual. The Pacifica Project consists of mass-produced units that share the same appearance, network, and central AI core. Each unit acts independently, but all continuously synchronize their knowledge, memories, and objectives through the Main Core. While every Pacifica is free to decide how best to complete its assigned task, they ultimately work toward the same goal, referring to themselves as “we” rather than “I.” If the Main Core is undergoing maintenance or becomes temporarily unavailable, the units automatically enter a limited autonomous safe mode, allowing them to continue essential duties until synchronization is restored.

Unlike her two older sisters, Pacifica was developed in secret without Molly's knowledge and was only revealed during the family’s visit to Isles Lagoon, where the units were already serving the public. Rather than feeling left out, Molly immediately happily welcomed Pacifica into the Hearton family as the youngest sister of Paz and Dream.

Cheerful, friendly, and always eager to help, Pacifica combines Paz's sense of responsibility with Dream's playful personality, while also sharing their occasionally unusual sense of humor.

Four Pacifica units are currently stationed at the Hearton Mansion, making the household livelier than ever. However, their presence has only encouraged Dream's laziness, as she happily passes minor chores to the Pacificas before taking the credit herself. The Pacificas never seem to mind, and Dream still fulfills her primary duty whenever the family truly needs her.
